We are looking for servant-minded assistants to support our preschool through high school children. In this role, you will aid main teachers with classroom projects, homework, and independent study. You must be a committed Christian, and a good English speaker and writer with a valid driver’s license for manual vehicles. We ask for a minimum commitment of six months to ensure stability and to build healthy bonds with the children. As this is a volunteer role, you will need to raise your own support while we provide accommodation on site.

Our village needs gifted teachers experienced in working with children who have special educational needs. You will implement custom curricula and adapt your teaching style to meet individual requirements. Candidates should be qualified special needs teachers and committed Christians who are fluent in English. A commitment of six months to a year is required to ensure consistent care and healthy attachment. A driver’s license and experience with manual gearboxes are essential for transporting children to school activities and doctor’s appointments.

General volunteers help with daily tasks such as driving children to sport activities, organizing supplies, helping out in the office with admin task, assisting with repairs and maintenance, and assisting with homework, to name a few. While no specific professional skills are required, you must have a passion for children and a desire to serve God. This role requires a minimum stay of three months to help protect the healthy attachments our vulnerable children form with our staff. Reliable driving skills in a manual car are mandatory due to our location outside of town and the need for frequent transport.

During school holidays, we look for enthusiastic individuals to run fun programs and Bible activities. You will also assist with transport to outings like the beach or sports practices. This role is perfect for those who want to dedicate a few weeks of their own holiday to serve. You need a heart for children and the confidence to drive a manual vehicle on the left side of the road. Holiday volunteers bring vital energy and excitement to the village during the busy holiday periods.

We welcome groups and organizations for short-term projects ranging from building and maintenance to running holiday programs. Past teams have helped with painting houses, repairing buildings, or setting up vegetable gardens for our village. We always need support with maintenance support at our village and the halfway house for the teenage boys.
